Opening hours

Due to the current developments arround Covid-19 we also have to prevent the risk of further spreading of the coronavirus:

• The museum areas above and below ground will be reopened from May 12, the cave from May 30.

• Compliance with the hygiene and distance rules (at least 2 m) according to our notices
  
  
• Maximum number of guests per area and time slot (max. 20 people at the same time in the museum above ground)
  
  
• The visit therefore requires the reservation of certain time slots.
  
  
• You can reserve daily between 10 am and 4 pm only by telephone on 05327/829 391.
  
  
• To control the number of visitors, the stays to be booked are initially 1,5 hours, each at the beginning of a full hour, e.g.B. from 10 am to 11.30 am etc.
  
  
• Admission 15 minutes before the booked time
  
  
• In the event of a delay, the booked time will be shortened or the reservation will be canceled entirely.
  
  
• Obligation to wear mouth and nose protection for all guests and employees (except children under 6 years of age or medical certificate)
  
  
• When you make a reservation, we record your name and your telephone number so that possible infections can be traced. Both will be destroyed again within the legally prescribed time.

• Christmas holidays 2019/2020: 23 december 2019 to 6 january 2020 (24 december closed)
• Winter holidays: 1 to 4 february 2020
• Easter holidays: 28 march to 14 april 2020 
• Pentecost holidays: 30 may to 2 june 2020 
• Summer holidays: 1 july to 31 august 2020
• Autumn holidays: 1 to 31 october 2020
• Christmas holidays 2020/2021: 22 december 2020 to 8 january 2021 (24 december closed!)
